the majority of these pieces are gonna involve staircases and they're not going to be perfectly blended(i'm finding terraining quite hard) or great pieces of terrain. however, i felt like sharing some of what i have. I'll add some more later.

this is supposed to be a descending ramp. after experimenting with different border types for the bottom right/left edges, i've determined roof is the best. still haven't been able to blend in the interior edges of the ramp.

yes, i know its not a very original idea, but i think it pulled it off with unique(as far as i know) detailing, such as floor terrain, custom floor tile configuration(non-isom), a 'lip' on the bar, roof-tile tables, and as-good-as-its-gonna-get substructure wall/roof wall blending. ps those slots in the roof wall are supposed to be windows(not ure what they actaully are).
MIRROR MIRROR MIRROR!!!!!
lol jk
yes they are mirrors but meh, i just got used to mirrors so i don't care for them anymore.
i think that the first stair of the first picature it's kinda unuseful because you won't be able to go down, i think it wasn't meant to but whatever.
everything else it's good i guess, haven't seen so much installation so i don't know what to say the installation to installation it's good you can actually do lots of levels that way.
over all hmm... 8.1/10 (ignoring mirrors
)
Only teh last one r cool. lolz. 6/10 bro.

Yup, they are mostly mirrored. But, who cares, NO ONE DOES INSTALATION. 9/10 cuz u are tackling the hardest tileset.
Hmm some of those are pretty cool. I might even use a few for my map.
I like the 3rd and 4th screens. Good job. 9/10
Why did you use the flame trap when you can use the missle trap?

Are me and urmom the only one who notices the floor traps?
Well that's how you have to do it in installation. There aren't really any blending tiles to use. It's a neat idea though.

what flame trap? its prob only looks like a flame trap because i overlapped two missile traps.
i'm gonna add a few more later, mirrored, but i think they still look nice and hopefully not too blocky.
having trouble blending some parallel stairs right now, update after that is done.

yeah what he said. 8/10 cause most of that could be done by a normal terrianer, it's just, you dared to explore another terrian
Oh yea they looked like flame traps in the picture.
nice job looks pretty cool 7/10
A lot of it is really, really blocky and fuzzy. The double-sized staircase picture has really uneven substructure and you use a lot of traps and doodads to cover up the unblended parts. 5/10 Not bad ideas though so I'll give you a little bit of credit.
ya, i'm quite aware of the double-wide stairs blockiness issues, that was just a little experiment - failed. as for the substructure, i did mention to disregard it, as i was still deciding which type of flooring to use.
although, there is one small, unmirrored blend that i kind of liked. it near the top, above where the two staircases merge, two tiles(well, the right 3/4 of them) fit together perfectly .
so, which of the other pieces do you think need to be redone?
Well other than that, they're fine.
MIRROR! ... first one is fugly... i like the other ones tho... with a quick look i didnt see much blockyness lol, i know, its just a base for other terrain mainly. i'm gonna add a few things later after school, including a bar(how original!).
also, i'm gonna start diversifying and start using some of the roof terrain, since it's walkable.
it'd help if you guys tell me what you would like to see.
ADDITION:
add two more pieces, both are still under construction but i need some input on them. particularly the 1st new pic. does it actually look like a descending ramp?
ADDITION:
another little thing about sprites(wall missile in particular), i'm pretty sure they're crashing my map and i was wondering if there was a way to prevent this...
2/10. The bars has been done hundreds of times. It's nothing new... Try making a hangar or something... And the other one, it's a bit blocky but of course with installation, everything will be but nothing a few sprites couldn't do to block the view of the stuff. Nice idea but a little fuzzy. 5/10 for the wall. what do you mean by a hangar? you can do that with just isometric terrain... unless you mean multi-leveled or something?
Yeah, I guess. I dunno, you can't do many things with the Installation Terrain.

true dat, but you can always try
. the primary reason i'm doing this is to discover some blends in installation terrain and to see if its a feasable tileset for my map.
i'm trying to fix line of sight issues for some of my pieces, i totally forgot to take that into consideration when i was making them. cause in the bar, i can actaully see onto the upper level. also, I've been doing some working on some trigger systems instead of the terrain lately.
