Ok first things first: yes i kno there is no forum for scxe, so i thought this would be the next best spot to post up some tech support. So plz dont flame me for that.
So, my problem is whenever i try to save in special mode, it crashes.
What i have tried:
Restarting computer
Re-installing SCXE
Using different verson
Used the "2.6" fix

Does this happen with any map or are you trying to save some other map?

I have found that many 2.6 downoading sources have not been that good. I had 2.6 on my comp downstairs and it worke fine. Cant remember where I got it! Downloaded it on my laptop and it didnt work, Downloaded it again, didnt work. Got it from SEN! Worked Fine. Just dl it again!

well they both work fine, I have 2.5 and .6 on my comp and 2.6 on my laptop! I have used them both, not too much of a difference! Well not that I can notice.

Well, if non of those helped you here is the link where i got mine it hasnt given me any problems since I got it. 
http://www.dboard.com/downloads/SCXE26SetupE.exe just to tell you when you paste this into your address bar thing it will start the download process, hope it helps you
