Well, if any of you have seen my signiture, I'm working on an RPG called Hamelin's Destiny based on the old story. I've decided to release a demo if you all want to see it. Now, it may be glitchy, but keep in mind I'm not done yet.

GLITCHES:

Fireball may malfunction.

If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them.

I liked it, the music was really good, but the gameplay seemed a little clunky. =/

hum... some bugs to fix

-My fireball not working

-I lose my dark Archon to cast spell

-i Can kill the piper

And something i hated:

- The dueling is ed

- The enemies is too strong alone

- The quest #3 is not working

- finally: The children always killed by the rats....

Well, I warned you fireball may malfunction, also you shouldnt lose your darkarchon when you cast spell, that's never happened before. What do you mean your dueling is ed? And lastly, Quest #3 should work no matter what. I think I need a little more detail to be able to fix those things.

Dueling: I cant do it alone or i need 2 point in armor...

Quest 3: I took the statue but when im going to give it to the mayor the quest restarting

DA: I lose it... when i buy a carriage i think....

Child: They get killed... :/

Piper: I remember, i don't see the movie at the beginning... i only see a dark black screen ( i used Black sheep wall the 2 time )

I didn't finish the intro just yet, so I left it blank for now, The carriage shudnt do that, maybe you should mind control from farther away, and I don't understand how piper kills kids, Also the demo ends in the end of Quest 3, so yah that wud make sense.

nyahahaha !! It was all me who gave me those ideas.... Town portal / Potions etc. its a good map you shud play it !

Anyway, SiLeNT I still hate your map. You're just throwing random stuff into it with no rhyme or reason. What does killing rats have to do with suddenly gaining the power to use fireballs or turn into an all powerful being? I find your Dark Archon system of using items and such to be EXTREMELY unprofessional. Especially since they are on TOP of highlands and not in isolated holes. The map is looking better, but it's a long way from making any sense or being any fun. The dueling arena is also a cheap way of getting money, and is extremely bothersome. The map really doesn't have anything to make it special, it's just a rip of virtually every other concept from an RPG shoved into one map where it doesn't belong.

Sessase: Ever heard of Micro? Dueling is a lot easier that way.

Sessase, first time you duel, you have to micro. Then when you get some armor, you can own them

leveling up
-modify unit health

spells
-use air transports

inventory
-isolated empty area, using flags or something to make grids so you can control EXACTLY where the items get created, and set limit to how many things you can carry so players won't waste money spending money on stuff that cannot be created because the area is full

Thanks for the other suggestions, but I already am using Modify Unit HP for level ups.

I hate the dropship menus, and I think using Buildings for spellcasting as Mutilated Puppet did is much better and more effiecent. I'll write up a little article on it in a few minutes in the Concepts section... Right after I do something else...

My thoughts:
- Terrain to straight in Rat cave. (Grrr)
- I got two marines ^_^ owned.
- Firebat worked, gives merc but didnt place hero back.
- Lost Dark Archon Oo.
- Could told people train before exiting town.
- -_- i had load my cd just play the music.
- Kupo

Lost my arcon fire balls glitched and igot owned alot.

Found a funny bug:


Sent Marine to item shop, put him on side sent marine to training mced some lings then minerals started rolling in see i had 3k in this screen shot.

Sadly I think this topic is going to have to be closed. SiLeNT said he didn't like how his map was turning out so he deleted it from his harddrive. I guess we won't get to see a finished version of something that could have had potential.

How am I full of ? I was just trying to say it in a nice way, it's not my fault silent has no balls and decided to quit just because some people found some bugs. He thinks that people finding bugs mean they hate his map... I don't know why. Go ask him.

o no a glitch
If u restart because a glitch thats like me in 4th grade. If i had a spelling error i created a copmplete new essay which was annoying but still he can always dl his own map at this site

Ugh, jeez. Better you hear it from me. The map was getting too bug-filled, and the whole map wasn't working right. And I also got to thinking that what's the point of making this? It's like any other RPG, nothing new, so I stopped.
