Alright, i was finally able to test a map out that i made, but when i did, it placed a CC at my starting location and the units that i originally placed didn't exist. And yes, i did put Use Map Settings on. I was also using Starcraft X-tra

Post the map. And try again, make sure you really did set it to Use Map Settings. We can't see the problem from out here

Make sure the players are set to a certain race (Zerg/Terran/Protoss) not "User selectable".

Yeah, like Kenoli said, make sure it is not User Selectable, as that was probrably the problem.
