Yesterday the NDS lite finally came out! Woot! I bought it the first minute it was on the shelves. It was kinda scary..all these asians lining up at the door I didnt know if I'd get one or not. I went over to my chums house and we played some games and he started to cry when he saw how much better the lite is compared to ds regular. I highly recomend the ds lite.

I looked at the new features for the NDS Lite. I dont know how its better than the regular DS. Can someone tell me what so good about it???

I know it has better lighting and stuff. but thats all.

P.S. What R you guys' Screename on the DS? I have 2 games that R Wi-Fi i think.

Is it just me, or did the original DS have a better cooler scheme? Am I the only one who thinks the plain white is kinda ugly?

In pictures the old DS looks nice, but in your hands it's very blocky. It also comes in some oddly named colors. Which are basically tainted blue, tainted purple, and tainted pink (I believe)

DS lite is like the same ds, but some outer changes.

The biggest one is its smaller and looks more sexy, and more light. Its like the same price as a DS anyway...

The original DS fit my hands perfectly.

And my pocket too. It had a bit of bulge, made it much harder to fall out of my pocket. I could run with the DS in my pocket and not fear it falling out.

This one doesn't look like it'll do the same, it's so small

It may seem like just a brighter screen isnt much but it makes a HUGE difference. you see colors that you werent able to see with regular ds and you have a better viewing angle so your friends can watch you pwn noobs. Oh yeah, believe it or not my screen name is T-MaStAA. You wont ever see me online though. I only play online at my friends house.
PS ds lite is 173$ canadian with tax.

120 here in US so with tax thats around 8% so.... arond 130-135... not a bad deal..

my only thing if DS online service had one screen name for it all...

like i hate having each game in different name...

i mean DS can have a friend list type of thing..

personally PSP looks better in some way... now ipods are overpriced...

Id rather get a PSP than an Ipod and listen to music with that... im pretty sure the 2nd psp will be better..

i hope the MS handheld comes out... they said its not a gaming devious but rather pretty much a mini pc.. hope its around 300 bucks.. becuase they said its named xbox. Becuase xbox is their new entertainment devices name, not just gaming.. Now what else the xbox handheld needs is just be able to play xbox live arcade

, and play music and play movies... yep thats it for me lol... and it better come with somekind of harddrive installed lol...

ADDITION:
DS lacks in to many feature, and the fact that this "Jump Manga" game didnt come out in the US makes me angry XD...

I love japanese anime character such as goku, and espeically naurto fight against each other... but thoes japenese never released a english version. why why why

it seems like im shifting from Nintendo to Sony to Microsoft to and back again to Nintendo. Or might just stay at Microsoft.

Sony is total bs now... Nintendo really got nice pricing, expect for games...

Nintendo has the best games around. DS has over 280 games at the moment but some of em are of a poor quality*looks at Metroid Prime Pinball*. But the average price for ds games is like 50$ so thats where they get you. Here ill copy paste my list of games to get...

1. Metroid Prime Hunter
2. Mario Kart DS
3. Super Mario Bros.
4. Star Fox DS
5. Custom Robo arena
6. Legend of Zelda: The phantom hourglass
7. Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time
8. Pokemon Ranger

10. Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis
11. Lost in Blue
12. GoldenEye: rogue Agent
13. Age of Empires: The Age of Kings

The list would be alot bigger but a lare part of the 280+ games have just been announced and they don't have any screen shots or movie clips.

StarFox DS is sweet

. Also im HOPING to get GoldenEye:Rougue Agent. Thats the only game that's like a sniper/shooting game on the DS (MAKE MORE NINTENDO CMON!). And whats up with no sports games?? Where are Nba 2006 and Nfl 2006 or Mlb?? Why dont they make this genre of games? Does it not suit the DS?? What?! Im so fed up.

Also ppl I edited what my names were on Mario Kart And Metroid. Golden-Fist and T-MastAA, why dont we give each other our names and friend codes so we can add each other to friends list on games?? Unless you dont have any of those 2, then post what Wi-Fi game you have. Anyone can post their also if you'd like.

you got the best list of ds games....

yep but other than that does anything else really appeal to you at all... not really. Like half the ds games have good graphics, and the other half it hurts to look at them... if all games were like New Super Mario Bro or Metriod Prime Hunter type of graphics that would be fine, but theres some with real bad graphics...

and dont talk about sports game, every single one of them looks ugly ont he DS...

meh i might shift to nintendo someday but not now i guess.. already got 360, and good thing i didnt buy the old DS. XD lol haha i was wondering if i should buy it or not. that thing is bulky, DS lite is sexy. yep and the lighting and angel helps a lot. My friend lent me his old DS, and that thing was actually kind of big to hold on one had. you know you have to use the touch screen with other and the lighting was so bad sometime you yourself couldnt see whats happening lol... and i played the DS lite in a store and in that thing the color came out a lot better

Yep only thing ds have to improve is a sign in thing at the start… like battle.net and works for all DS games with online… and sports game do look ugly on DS, there is only a selection of mostly first party game that looks good… don’t get hopes up on 3rd party games they look ugly… If you look at that list like 10 of it is first party games… yep yep yep

Yea, I think there is a microphone you can buy to chat to the people ur versing on Wi-Fi. Im not sure where to find it but ill look into it some more. Like the price, featurs,etc.

God dangit Does anyone have a Wi-Fi game here? I wanna play one of you guys! I versus all these asians lol but its really fun and intertaining!

I'm pretty sure I heard that you could voice chat with people in Metroid Prime : Hunters, but I guess no other game supported that or something
