Is there any limit to the number of units that can be created in the same 1x1 square? Such as, 100 spider mines?

not sure, but i don't think there is a limit, cause i've never heard anything to disprove that. i'm doubly sure in the case of burrowed units.

Aside from the regular 200 supply/psi/whatever limit, I don't think so. I've never tested it, but i assume it should be fine t make 200 burrowed lings or like 376123461234 spider mines (though if they all try to attack, I assume some lag may occur).

The Create Unit With Properties trigger makes the unit, THEN applies the property. So if you create 20 burrow lings, they won't appear in the same spot. If you create them one at a time, or move them all to the location you want, then they will be stacked.

Also, I've made a map with 600 zerglings in the same spot. There is no limit.

eZ if you have a delay before there made the marine will kill the top burrowed ling which would be 1700 newbbb lol

Im going to try that now, I'll stack 1700 zerglings and order them to move with triggers. tongue.gif

I tested it out, it was the laggiest thing I've ever experienced. Here's a map I made so that you can do it. The max amount of units it let me have was 1636.[attachmentid=19400]

With spider mines, you're going to have to make a pause between each one if you want them to stack because they take a moment to burrow into the ground.
