Is there a limit of how many AI scripts? and if so y?

You can only have one difficulty script (easy, medium, difficult, insane, custom) running per comp. However, you can have infinite (I think) load/unload bunkers, board transports, arbiter recall, and the like. You can only have 1 "suicide mission" AI script per comp (I think).

I'm not really sure why. =\

well i only have 1 custom campaign bu im using junk yard dog

You can use several, but I don't see anything indicating that the computer is using all the AI scripts together. But it should work if you put it in, it's not like the computer is going to ignore it.

from what i know you can have as many difficulty/custom AIs you want, but only the most recent to fire will actually have an effect on the computer. i don't think theres any sort of limit on the other ai scripts
