I really hope I did this poll right because I don't know how to do it. I'd like to see who likes this map, mostly beacuse I submitted it but it was denied. Hopefully that wasn't just because of corruption...

Very bad, the game requires absolutely the least skill of all games. You can just leave your PC on while you do something else like Internet or something and stillf win.
Although the cravinig for clicking the falg and resisting it is nice...

If you'd bothered to play it you'd know there is an Anti-AFK feature where you at one point you have to kill an Arbiter. I think it's fun because you can watch all the newbies drop when they click the flag.

Its a horrible map and a waste of time. Thats why it was denied.

I suggest you submit this to a website that doesn't check their downloads if you dont like it.

To think, some people say I dont deny enough maps.

Its fun while people drop... but i hate when people drop every 1 minuate... You have to wait 40 seconds everytime, its annyoing so i say this is a horrible map....

I never said I wanted you to accept it, if that was implied I made a mistake somewhere. I just wanted to see what other people thought too. I am aware that it is a completely newbie map, hence why it is enjoys spurts of popularity. But I hesitate to wonder that if one newb map is denied, what about others such as OMFG THE ZERGLINGS and Sexy Pics. Although SEN is apparently meant to be for respectful individuals only, newbs aren't being well accomodated for.

Wrong. They are being accomodated for. Yoshi's refusal of that map is on the grounds that he doesn't want to expose newbs to retarded maps like that. It's better that fewer people see stupid crap. So what if Yoshi only accepts good maps? That gives newbs something to shoot for. If he accepted everything then newbs wouldn't bother to improve their mapping skills because people would see their map no matter how good or bad it is.

Anyways, those pornographic maps are pretty lame. Sneaking a peek at a bunch of pylons that fit together and don't even look like a real girl...

Amazingly I find myself defending the rights of newbs to stay newbs and to be dumbasses. It's the American way, if if you don't agree with it, you defend it to the death because of freedom! Huahahah~11``1!!!...

It's hard to defend this without seeming and feeling conceited because Shmidley made this map and I am Shmidley. I guess maybe that's why I like it, but I still like how quickly I set to work on a map using a glitch

The waiting part isn't the funny part, that 45 seconds is boring as Hell. But then even after the initial newbs drop from clicking the flag right away, it's funny to see other people drop from clicking the flag later on.

As for me taking offense, I love people trying to diss me Especially when they say stupid stuff like 'the map is retarded'. That's not very descriptive. What's so "retarded" about it?

Aargh! I hate maps like this. They're not funny in the least, and people who laugh at them are typically ***holes. I'm sorry, but causing newbs to become frustrated is not an exciting endeavor, nor is the exploitation of a glitch considered good mapping skills. It's childish, and stupid. Two thumbs down on this one.

It might be fun the first time, but waiting the 45 seconds for the newbs to drop takes a lot of that fun out in its punch. Even then, it might be fun only for a minute or a bit; any more and its just a waste of time.

I think the map is a blast. I noramly join and see a few newbs drop and laugh at them. Then i normaly say something like "ok guys its alright to click the flag now", then i leave. Then i get to laugh at them because there laughing at me becuase the newbs think im a newb that dropped when i really left, what a newb.

PS. I have never played the map. I just made that up lol.

OMFG THE ZERGLINGS was a really fun map. Simple, yet fun. It was worth a few hours of fun. "Sexy Pics" is mainly for experimental and showing off the power of BMP2SCM.



I do respect newbies, and my respect for you isn't lost for you just because you submitted a game thats worth 30 seconds of fun.

Is it? People will still continue making (and worse: hosting) them, so it'll never really be settled as far as I can tell. But meh, everyone has to get their jollys from testing limits every now and then, so watever.

P.S. Getting respect is about doing something to deserve it: namely not releasing maps like these, not making threads to ask if these deserve to be hosted along with other legitimate maps, and likely not arbitrarily criticizing things unless they are genuinely bad or else you plan to outdo them yourself.

I had meant the original point of this topic is closed. It's pretty obvious that anyone who has any self-respect at all wouldn't be caught dead playing Don't Click the Flag or a similar map. The poll tells us that as well as peoples' responses.
