Hitler Museum Video
I just got on my computer and clicked on the internet icon, and my MSN Homepage appeared. I was looking at the stuff on the site and then I noticed a video on a museum that was about to open up in Wisconsin... honoring Hitler... Should the cops arrest hima and tear down the place or does he have the right to keep it?

Excuse me, arrest him? For what? Since when are beliefs against the law?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Pyro_Maniak14 on 2006-06-14 at 21:32:51
I'm just asking everyone else, if they choose that they want him arrested, all the power to them, its an opinion Wilhelm and I never said I wanted him arrested, I'm just interested in other peoples opinions.

If he doesen't twist the bad things Hitler did and shows the good things he did, and does not spread nazi ideas, I think that museum has the right to exist. But how can you define good and bad things anyway ? It's all opinion.

But we're talking about Adolf Hitler, not Pee-Wee Herman. What I find funny is that the man making the museum calls Hitler a great man and very nice. I wouldn't call someone who exterminates millions of people nice, unless of course someone else in Hitler's Thired Reich or SS killed the Jews but they were still under his command. I understand that Hitler was a great leader, pulling Germany out of poverty after WWI and how he actually convinced Germany to exterminate all the Jews and actually go worth into war is remarkable, he just didn't know when to quit, and refused to give up. And many German officers honoured him for that, yet some opposed, obviously, not the man in the video, he must've been on Hitler's good side.

The police can't arrest him. They won't need too. The museum won't get enough money to stay financially alive, so it will close due to bankruptcy. Unless all the nazis in America flock there. Then it might stay up.

They have no right to tear down the building. If I have a building, they can't tear it down because it goes against someones belief.

They aren't going to do anything to the building. I myself would actually want to go and take a look around there.

The police have no right to arrest the man unless he is spreading nazi propaganda and planning to overthrow the govt.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Pyro_Maniak14 on 2006-06-16 at 02:15:46
It's also on his property but a lot of people are getting a little paranoid and hurt just because it exists. Anyone going to the open house? wink.gif I'd probably take a look at it if I lived in Wisconsin. And I don't think he'll have to worry about bankruptcy since he's not paying anyone to maintain it, all the money came out of his pocket.

The township/commonwealth/wahetever that it's in CAN, however, petition against it. They do have that right, but he would never be arrested. You seem to have some silly ideas about law and the rights you have in this country.

I would like to see it... And:

.... Not all of Germany was killing Jews... And, how do you know he didnt want to quit? You should read: The Wave He may have wanted to quit, but the adreniline of being able to control so many people could have kept it going. That and the Nazis could have just done things that they INFERRED Hitler meant.

But anyway... The Museum should be able to stay up. He cannot get arrested unless someone spins the truth so much that it seems that the owner is plotting to take over the government... I say Hooray for him.

Why does everyone look at Hitler when he was a horrible man? They won't arrest him for they know the background about Hitler. He was just an Austrian painter who had a teacher who was a nazi. He influenced the guy into thinking that jews were rude people who deserved nothing but the worst. Besides, what Hitler did is part of history and if you are saying he should be arrested for that, so should the makers of our social studies text books because they have biographies and such on Adolf Hitler. The man should be left alone along with his museum.

Thing is, the history books don't tell the full story and/or change crap. Its all there to give patriotism to the reader. Tell them hitler was such a bad man, even though it was really himmler who came up with and put into effect the final solution. Then tell us how america went in there to save the day and crap. All bullcrap. They don't tell you the true reasons we went in there.

Read "Lies our history teachers told us".

Definately a good read. Talks on many topics.

Lol.

Hitler isn't as bad as everyone says. He may have been luney (We all are) But he was a very affective leader.

He took Anarchist Germany in one grab. Pure genius

Hitler was a boring ass hole. My godfather has read considerably on the subject, and has come to the conclusion that Hitler and most of the top Nazi leaders were just boring, dull people. They weren't stark raving mad, they were just banal.

Now Stalin, that's a dictator!

For example, here are some really cool things about Stalin:
Stalin's son tried to hang himself. The day after one of Stalin's aids came and told him his son tried to kill himself. To this Stalin replied "He can't even do that right."

Stalin pushed his wife into killing herself.

He had a really cool mustache.

I think we should open a Joseph Stalin museum.

Stalin was the real nutter. Besides, Wilhelm, that museum would stay open no matter what. He could always go to the courts if they successfully petitioned agianst it, calling it an infringement on his beliefs. He isn't shoving his beliefs down anyone's throats, unlike a bunch of Christian people I know at my own school. He's showing the world a view of Hitler most don't care to see. A lot of Hitler's speeches about the economy and stuff are really persuasive, so I can only imagine what they'd be like to the oppressed Germans of the 1920s and 30s. Besides, he's allowed to spread Nazi ideas if he wants to. He's just not allowed to induce hatred (which makes me wonder why Pat Robertson is allowed to... exist).

Yes, I think he was not really normal, like many dictators.

Stalin was an interesting person, I think. There was an accident with a chicken:
If I recall, his wife told everybody who will have a meal with him "pretend taht you're not really hungry to leave the chicken to him, so he will be nicer". They did. stalin then asked each one of them "You really don't want that chicken ?". After hearing everybody's reply "No, thanks", the chicken flew out of the window.

That's not important.

P.S. I suspect there allready is a museum about Stalin.

That would be stupid if they tear down the museum. He should have the right to have that museum as long as he doesn't go overboard with it. I really want to go to a german museum to see the other side of the story because all I get here is the Allies side.

I doubt any real German museum would be like "Jews are evil. Gas them." I think coming to SEN gives you a better feel for what Nazis were like than any textbook ever did.
