Positive:

Splinter Cell - Sam Fisher, who plays the main character of Splinter Cell becomes a stealth ninja who takes out terrorists by stepping on the, neck-slit or anything you name it. He is part of the government. And first type of game that deals with terrorists has to do with stealth than using the police nor the military.

Ghost Recon - Scott Mitchell, who plays the main character of Ghost Recon, is the team leader of ghosts in the future taking out terrorists, being really tactical. He is part of the Military.

Rainbow Six - Logan Keller, who plays the main character of Rainbow Six, is the team leader of his SWAT team, taking out terrorists as well, becomes tactical for FPS. He is part of the police SWAT department.

Negative:

Splinter Cell - Possibly the PSP version needed better graphics, and it takes place always in darkness in three entire games, from Splinter Cell to Chaos Theory itself. Versus Mode can cause headaches for Mercenaries.

Ghost Recon - Ghost Recon 1 was just a crosshair, and the PC version for GRAW could've have been using weaker hardwares than it's requirements. Multiplayer causes headaches due to lag depending on other player's connections and use of hardwares.

Rainbow Six - Plenty of games, there are some that didn't go out too well. Some of those are a letdown.

Splinter Cell and sort of Rainbow six are the only games that keep consistant characters. And all Tom Clancy games suck, for a game about terrorists being incredible smart, they're incredible stupid.

Weird... Everyone I know has played Splinter Cell 1 & 3, but no one I know has tried Pandora Tomorrow. Chaos Theory was one of my favorites games anyway, screw the storyline, I wanted to kill people.

Splinter Cell: Played all three, own the first two. Excellent games, but I suck at them. Love the splitscreen co-op in CT.

Ghost Recon: Own GR2, heard that AW is good. Excellent gameplay, good difficulty. Multiplayer could be better.

Rainbow Six: Played Original for N64 and RS3. My god, has it changed. Loved the first one, but haven't really played any of the others to get a good idea of them.

Conclusion: All good games, but I think I'm going to have to go with Splinter Cell, for the awesome multiplayer.

I only played Splinter Cell through a PC demo and I get pissed off when I'm 90% done with a mission and just because of one thing I have to start all over. That is also the case with R6 games.

As for GRAW, my only chance of playing it was with my friend on his 360. Right when we spawned, I saw red streaks on my screen, so I thought I was getting shot. Then I see a lot of tangos and boy did they own us. I wish I could see my gun on the screen, so it's easier for me to know when I fire.

The problem is R6, as much as it tries to be is not realistic. Maybe it has to do with the AI, but also with the HUD. It might be harder, but they need to remove things like health numbers, ammo gauges, menus and of course, CROSSHAIRS! How do you aim without crosshairs? Well, how do you think it's done in real life? IRONSIGHTS!

And that's realism^

The funny part?

The picture is from a mod on half-life called Hostile Intent. When a mod that is FREE is more realistic than a franchise that supposedly is supposed to be a simulator, it's clear those games were just made for the money. Red Storm needs to actually fire a gun and see if you have floating crosshairs in real life.

There is a save feature for Splinter Cell, it's not checkpoints anymore from Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell 1 itself.

You could get GRAW for PC, which takes a lot of high requirements... it's more like the Versus mode in Splinter Cell with the mercenaries. Moving crosshair and gun to add realism in life.

Rainbow Six attempts to make it realistic as possible, more tactical is what you mean than the hud. The HUD does make it hard a bit though.

Rainbow Six is great when they don't decide to do something like they did with lockdown. It is a shooter that you have to take your time, and work as a team.

I'm sure they have, and no one is stupid enough to think you get little crosshairs when shooting a gun. But I know that in Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield you can turn off all the HUDs or leave certain things on like your health, and your team's health. You might want to check it out, it's like 8 dollars now.
