I need the commando music from the first resident evil movie to complete my map, but i do not have the soundtrack, i can't record it, and i have no way of finding it on the internet. This music is played at the laser defense system, the commandos breaking into the spencer estate, and some other parts like the battle with the licker. Can anyone help me obtain this wav?

try http://www.Limewire.com
the advantages of this is its fastish and u can search multiple things however it is said to be a super big gateway to viruses so get a virus protection thing on at all times :s

or

try http://www.imesh.com
not many people have heard of imesh but it does however have pretty much no viruses along with it but the downloads are super slow and you in most cases have to buy songs (itll display on the side if u need to or not) the golden CD's are ones imesh provides the download is fast on these ones but after your first download you'll have a 7 day trial and then be prompted to buy a membership

then youll need an audio converter i even did a google search just for you
http://www.audconv.com/

that is only one site tho if u go to google and do something like "audio converter" or "audio convertor" you'll find many links (even with the bad spelling happy.gif)

Also, if you can't find it in the DLDB, you could always go to: www.download.com (this isn't the right link but it redirects to the right place). Anywhoo, this site has everything imaginable in terms of programs (some are only trials... cracks anyone?).

If the movie is a dvd and are desperate... just download the movie from limewire or using a torrent program, then get dvd ripper or dvd shrinker, ripping it from the dvd into AVI or similar format, then rip the sound out of it using Video Mp3 extractor, then get an mp3 modifing program and alter and clip the file, then convert the file into wav format using ITunes (I think it's the best...), and then changing the quality of the sound using Sound recorder. (the entire process takes a really long time...)....

If that route doesn't work for ya, get a desktop sound recorder or desktop recorder (one that records sound + visual, because these are more common), and then do the same with the Video Mp3 Extractor (repeat... repeat)...

If the movie is from a tape.... then you would have to have a PVR card in your computer. This would allow for you to plug in a vcr to your comp.... ughh....

Good luck...

The song is
Marilyn Manson - Seizure of Power
I've got a really cool Anime Music Video with that song, and I love that movie.

PS. If you rip the audio directly from the movie it will be mixed with the other sound effects, and dialoge. Also the volume of the song is adjusted thoughout that part in the movie so it is really low at points.
