Okay, here the gist of it.
My waterfall needs to look like a waterfall, without using those sprites that give it the tumbling look. I don't want to use too many sprites in the map so here's where we put our minds together. We need to find a tile that will give a water the look of a waterfall without using sprites, or as a last resort, minimal sprites possible.
The Waterfall:
EDIT: I will get an StarCraft screenshot later, but I have to go for now.

you can't spare like 5 sprites. cause for something that size, it should only need the many, at the VERY max.

its cool, but you should use differnt water. Scroll though the tileset index and find the water that looks right (the water thats agianst the rocks at the bottem look best)

I did that, I even tried the ones that looked like they wouldn't work. It still had a really wierd look to it. I'm going to test out a few doodad tiles, see if any of those would do good.

Oh but you're idea worked, I found a tile from one of the doodads... Very sexy, I put in 7 of those sprites and it looks good.
I guess it's kind of neccesary to use hallucination death for the crashing of water. Thatnks for the help.

Looks too blocky/dark at center + bottom is messed up
- sorry, but it does
Use a Lighter Water-Rock Then Morph it with some Rock Sprites at Bottom

I'm still pacing back and forth about the waterfall cliff... Too blocky, I think so =/ Give me your opinions.

This was my closest attempt at a spriteless waterwall. (The eldfire sprites are kinda needed in any waterfall) I could probably do better now, but I don't really care enough if they have sprites or not.
As for an opinion, the jungle rock on the left does not blend easily with the ash rock sprite below the waterfall. Either rid one of them, or add a sort of transition phase.
