Rofl I loved it. There was rhythm, humor, and creativity. It's not crapty, it's fun and not depressing like many write for.

There are many pieces of poetry describing wonderous places that, though do not exist in reality, do in the the blissful minds of an individual. And many others are expressions of happiness, peace, and love.
The reason there seems to be so many poems that are "complaining" is that, well, we all have a lot to complain about! And to think of most people about the age they're at here at SEN (I'd imagine it mostly be adolesence), there are probably very many people not very happy about life right about now...
Also, when some of us get in the mood to write poetry, we tend to try to reach out feelings (since that's often what we're writing about), and sad memories are much easier to pull up than the happy ones... I personally feel that sad memories come first because it then reminds you of the good ones later on. Lol, if you think about it, even good memories just before the sad moment (like memories before a break up) can end up being sad memories!
Anyhow... This is from me to everyone: Remember the good moments and hold on to that. If you hold only onto the sad memories, you'll end up forgetting why you feel sad except that you do... therefore for no reason!

A bullet hole without a bullet by Wayne
I hold the gun The gun of truth
I open my mouth To see the truth
The gun in my mouth I see no future
The world is dark Emotions are gone
Without any color I press the trigger
With a hole in my head I see the truth
The truth is beautiful Because there is no bullet.

Rednara, that poem was beautiful. It was breath-taking as it climaxed and definitly inspiring in the end. I loved it. Oh, I'm excited and feel like writing again (havn't for a while now) >_<
See? This is why i believe poems should deserve their own posts. Perhaps we could sign some weird petition and have each of us have something like our own little place of literature, maps, ect. Kinda like deviant art i guess.
And on the side note, is anyone else annoyed by templeguard? Maybe I'm just not giving a chance. Maybe it's just me.
I'm going to attempt to write after what rednara posted
We tend to forget; We tend to lose The Sight of Beauty-- The true form of Life.
Much is to be Created right now So that one day We'll recollect
And remember then Before again You lose the Sight And lose your Life
Aiya, maybe I should put some more time into it. And I do notice a little glitch from the first two and second two lines >_<
ADDITION**
Added the second verse thingy

Wait poems cant get there own thread? They should be, thats a very nice poem fm47. Lol I didnt even know you were in SEN lol... That poem I wrote can be little serious becuase it was pretty much how I felt. I once tried to commit suicide lol... Well im fine now.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by fm47 on 2006-06-24 at 00:56:21
Lol , have you seen me elsewhere?
Yeah, it seems like everyone goes through a suicidal age, especially during adolesence/high school. Some remain depressed and never get out of it entirely, some find enlightenment and become happier.
And oh, poems can have their own threads, just some people get irritated that a person would post 5 separate poems in the same 5 minutes instead of just 1.
