Hello,
I always wanted to play with my friends on team melee, but against a considerable force of compuers, since team melee of 3 teams is pretty easy.
As you know if you select team melee, you can select the following options:
4 teams of 2
3 teams of 3v3v2
2 teams of 4.
Would it be possible to create a map where 3 human controlled players would play team melee, and the other 5 would be computers?
simplified: 6 teams of 3v5(1+1+1+1+1).
This should be a UMS i suppose. I tried creating a map with those details, and used the Team UMS but it didn't work.

If the Team UMS doesn't work, I don't think anything else will. What went wrong when you tried to use Team UMS?

The problem is, when selecting game type: Team Use Map Settings, I cannot select the second team to be a computer. And I can't start the game without an opponent...

Thats easy. computers are always allied in melee mode
so just make the map in melee mode and ally each other in game

That wouldnt work because it would no longer be team melee. If you are unfamiliar with team melee it is same as melee execpt its 1v1(technecally it is) with several people controling each player.
so if you were to just ally in game you would not be playing team.

Just start a normal melee game with your friends and have the computers in. Trust me, the computers won't fight against each other.

team melee isn't like top vrs bottom. team melee is the one where you both control the same base and units at the exact same time. kinda like playing melee with a split personality disorder.

Whoa, my bad. I was thinking Melee with teams instead of Team Melee.
