QUOTE
Deathawk spams to hell:
One word, "Hi"Again, Once more, and some more, Again, Guess, OMG AGAIN, and again.
But there's more: here, here, here, here, here, this wouldn't be spam if it wasn't completely off-topic, and a crapload more.
If he is not suspended, then please explain to me why One Worded posts are not spam. They don't contibute at all, it's actually in the rules (I believe one Yoshi wrote) where it says "Don't say 'I like milk' because no one cares say 'I like milk because blah blah blah'" yet it's never enforced. Whether you suspend him or not, I'd like an explaination, and if your agreeing with me, can you make it more blantly clear for everyone that one worded posts are spam.

Basically the issue at hand here is: are posts of just a few words considered spam? Or do we judge them by what they add to the topic? Or just allow them in general?

In my book, one word posts are allowed as long as they relate to the topic. SEN is coded so that it won't give them minerals or posts for it, and it is not annoying to the eye.

Posts such as "Hi" to answer a Welcome topic, "Coke" to answer a sprite/coke poll, and such are fine in my book.

Obviously, however, if it is just some random one word that doesn't relate to the topic, then it's spam, but that applies to multiple words too.

It gets so tempting to ban this circle of whiners.

The number of words in a post doesn't matter, I can have a 1 worded post that can e as important as a whole essay.

IE: "Random Question(s) of someone asking if he can do X"

Reply: "Yes"

Also without 1-word posts, you can't have the Word Association or the forum games. And thoes keep me from getting bored while I wait for something to happen!
