=2174 Year Of Freedom=

For some COMPLAINING update:

~~~STORY~~~

-2083: The vessels of research UDG-56G have discovered a new kind of intelligence on the Planet they will call later: Xakov-4. Those "Others" seems to be more developed than the human kind.

-2098: First contact, they seem to be pacific but Some of them look like to be aggressive. They accepted to show us some of their cultural knowledge.

-2102: 3 "Others" fleets as been send on the earth, UED (United Earth Defense) have send some spies to know what is going on...

-2120: The "Others" created a kind of biological bomb...they killed 8 Billions peoples. They send their "guard" to take control over the earth.

-2174: A group of rebels live near the main "Others" base. They have suffered to much death... They requires the help of the "ancient" to retake a full control on earth...

~~~Screen~~~

Maybe later...

~~~Carac.~~~

-The rebels base will grow and have impact.
-Each civil (except moving unit) have is own mind with random speech.
-Rebels base have reinforcement depending on remaining building, quest, and elapsed time.
-Enemies will constantly attack the rebels base... maybe someone have to take an eye on the map.
-The map will include some... "Bonus"
-Some survivor will accept to follow you.
-Remember, this is a stealth and tactic map, you have to think before acting.
-(not sure) Maybe i will put an easy, medium, hard to play alone or with some guys...
-(not sure) Adding Extra Mission

~~~Gameplay~~~

-You play as one of the "ancient"(ghost) to help the rebels...
-You have stealth abilities such (Cloacking x "sec", Shape-shifting for X "min" to have a full access to Heavy protected building)
-You can Use Shape Shifting
-Use Some of Spiritual & Natural Spell -Tornado, fire, Apocalypse, meditation...
-Buy thing
-Use Mana-skill (vespene) to upgrade...
-20 levels
-12 Quests (maybe 2 more will see how many location left)
-Train your self for some Exp. point
-Hire mercenary for a help in battle...
-Some of mercenaries have their own spell... (Random cast)

~~~Goodies~~~

-256 x 256 map
-Badland
-Sceneries: City, Mountain, cavern.
-Team Exp...

Although storyline doesn't sound phenomenal, it does sound pretty good. But what I ecspecially like is stealth/infiltration type of gameplay. It's Original. Besides why does every SC RPG have to have heros that kill every unit they come across? Sometimes massive killing gets ridiculously redundant.

I agree... i will base "EXP" on stealth, magic and kill...

i will do the best of my knowledge to make the player use 70% of is infiltration abilities... For the hero: Try to kill a lvl 45 Zerglin with a simple marine! smile.gif

when you are changing size do this:

Startcraft and my game are not the samething i wont tell all the story of starcraft but if you have read the little story in the starcraft manual book you will understand it's not the samething...

Quests are always good, as long as it stays with the story. And speaking of which, I hope youll try to incorporate that story and maybe release more and more bits of the past as one plays through the game.

What kind of adjective is pacific for an alien?

l dont belive l have seen a more clichéd storyline for a map, if your going to stay with that concept, go ahead, but you should at least add some twists.

Why alien can't be pacific alien.gif ? They always need to be mad? that is cliched...

I don't really care about my storyline is cliched... that is not going to help me.
Some twist in game? Maybe...

Guys, give more information... what kind of twist? What is cliched! what suck....

personally i don't care much for storylines, unless they're REALLY bad. if you want to write so much, SEN may not fit you as much as poetry.com or something... anywho, tell us more about the interface, etc.
