What about a THPS game thats like sandbox where you can go anywhere and skate and also have objectives.Then go to sk8 parks and challenge legends?Itd be like a spell system to do moves with ramps being cliff walk ups and a siwthc system to do or beef a move.Also learning new tricks and special meter?Or poit system ???????? Ideas..comments?

It could be good, but I don't think it would be excellent unless you modded graphics somehow. You can't see any units really jump.

Sounds like a good idea..but it'll probably take tons of editing, testing, ect. I like the idea, though!

i think you would need a ton of luck to pull this off... changing a unit looks kinda ugly and there's no easy thing for grinding, or stairs... unless you did space... but grinding would be hard. and so would a point system, and a so would the entire map

A map of Tony Hawk should only be made if one has the will and determination to do it. It'll take a lot of effort to pull it off but it'd be nice to see it done nicely. I'm a skateboarder myself so I would be highly interested.

I dont think its possible to accurately have tricks and all that. It doesnt matter how many triggers you have, you couldnt make anything do a kickflip or something like that. The idea is good, but the ability to do it i find to be impossible.

You can make a mod to make it jump, its still possible

And yes, it is possible. 2 things to make it possible.

1. Allow me to help with your map.
2. Think tuxed-templar for triggering

Even with modding, there is no possible way to make it even remotely similar to some skating game, besides the graphics.
