What do you think of that guy, cant remember his name giving a good portion of his money to Bill Gates for charity. Bill is already rich enough, jeez. But I know he is going to dispurse it to charity. The Gates's I guess are better than this other guy at it. I dont know if I woud trust someone with my 37 billion though. But then again you could just sue them for it back, everyoe knows why he gave it to him. It could be a world wide vote practically.

He didn't give it to Bill Gates, he gave to Bill Gate's Charity. You know, how celebrities always sponser certain charities. It's a great thing, and it can't be a publicity stunt.

Thats what I meant by charity, THat explains it more clearer now, I heard a little about it on tv and just thought that he was giving it to Bill and the Gates production to use it for charity, but it is actually going to their charity? ok!

2. He is only giving with certain sipulations. These include:
a) All the money is used for charity within one year, not added to the foundations assets.
b) Bill and Melinda Gates must still be active in running the foundation.
He does it because he got the money from the people and he is giving it back to them. His children don't need any more than the $1 billion apiece they're getting.

You know about those has been celebs that used to make millions and then they got into drugs and now they're either bankrupt, dead, or both. Getting into drugs is the dumbest thing you can do when you're rich, since you can feed your addiction, making it worse.

Well whoever gave the money did a nice choice so the charity will get richer by 2% because a million dollars is pocket changed to Bill gates. Also whoever said use the money on prostitutes what if they got the money then sued you and then they become even more luckier.

Warren Buffett, is as rich or might be even richer than Bill Gates, he made a fortune off the stock market. They already have enough money, and I think its a good thing that they are giving it to charity. Well, I still they think could of it used it in something else, but they did a real good thing. Bill Gates is leaving only 10 million for each one, and giving rest of his money to charity, now thats a good man

Yep 37 Billion, not even a normal thousand people can make that much money in their life time... It would take atleast hundred thousand normal working people to make 37 billion... But Warren Buffett, is that rich. Actually anyone know whos the top 10 richest person in the world?

I think he should have simply given the money to the homeless. Charities, although they say they are decent, have been known for being rather large scam businesses. (Salvation army, for instance, is putting many shops out of business in africa, because they get clothes for free, so the guys who get the free clothes sell them for less than local owners can market. They own a spiraling economic disaster in many third world nations.)

But if he gave them to the homeless they should be just food and clothing checks that way they dont buy boose or drugs or anything else. But the charity would take care of that but most of the stuff that goes to homeless charity gets shifted to alcohol somehow! Not a good charity choice, i dont think anyway!

Wow sounds horrible... However, I doubt Bill & Linda Gates foundation will ever go like that, it seems like they're the richest charity now... Seriously 2 of the worlds richest giving like all they have... Thats enough to take us out of debt... XD, actually maybe not you don't know what Bush is doing... Well as 7-7 said, a lot of homeless end up like that, because they were influced by drug, and giving them money wont help in anyway... They obviously will use that money to buy more drug... Bill knows what to do hes a smart guy, and hes even going to leave his company to run his charity...

We should give him a call and make a charity for sen, think of what we could do to this site with a charity of half a million or something, its asking a lot but it wouldnt be that big asking for 500,000 from Him since he got 37,000,000,000 from just one guy, and Bill is richer than he is that would make it go to 36,000,500,000! Thats not that much!!!
