What about it? Its alowed, you can make it Snap to Grid so it will be exactly over it or evenly spaced, I am not really sure what you are trying to get at here but I am just throwing out what I think you are asking for.

How do you overlap, while map making, you just place another builing over another and click the left button on your mouse!
Edit > Snap To Grid (F4) If you want it to snap to the grid!

ohhhh, on text! haha, use the 10 back or 10 forward, use spaces in between, what word you using?

OR you can just check the handy tutorial on overlapping in 2x 3x and 4x forces and unit names... OVERLAPPING/STACKING TEXT
