Report, edit, etc...Posted by Felagund on 2006-07-02 at 18:00:54
Whenever a member clicks on the Report button for a post, I think it might be useful for SEN to have a copy of that post for the member to easily point out what exactly that member believes to be... undesirable with that post.

This is why they invented the quote BB Code.

Sound like a good idea to me.

It's certainly not the most important feature, but I believe it would be useful.

However, most of us are too lazy to click the quote button, go into add reply, copy, and then go back and report it.

You're supposed to work with us! Make our job easier and we'll make your job easier smile.gif

I thought when you reported a post it linked it to the post. If that's the case.. it's only like 1 click away.. =\

Why would we have a copy of the post? You can just refer to the post itself.

When reporting a post, doesn't it report the post you report?

I also believe it supplys a link to the post its self. All the moderators have to do is go to the post and they see it for them self.

You have been sent this communication from <reporters name> via the "Report this post to a moderator" link.

Ohh, I see. Nothing special like baloons everywhere? Or nothing like roaming mooses or nothing in that sort?

As the looks of the quote Syphon has just posted, there isn't really a need for a quote of the post that is reported. The moderators have a job to do, so let them do it with more fun.
