Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> ground units placed anywhere

I played a map and ground units were walking on space terrain. It wasn't NULL it was space, plus it walked over some walls too.

He said he would tell me if i joined his clan, but i didn't

So does anyone know how to make ground units walk on unwalkable terrain?

Create it on walkable null, such as the ones next to creep, then order it to move where you want. It will move.

From what I remember, it still had to do with null terrain, creep, and units with 10/9HP or something. I don't remember, but I have this test map which shows units walking on water. I guess the same thing was applied to space.

It doesn't have to have 10/9HP, as far as I know. Just some null.

Ground units can walk on these null tiles in most tilesets:

They can also walk freely from the null to any other terrain, including unwalkable terrain.
Ground units cannot walk onto these tiles from normal terrain. You will either have to preplace them on it, create them on it, move them on it, or load them in a transport and drop them on it. FYI.

The Null tiles and black ones are the absence of a tile. The black that you see is the color drawn underneath the tiles. In the space tileset there the image of the stars drawn underneath the tiles so placing null tile just lets you see the background (actually you can't have a black tile in space with no stars (i'm pretty sure)

Anyways like they said you basicly just place the tiles that are to the right of the creep tiles.

Is there some distinction between a null tile and a black one? =p

I'm fairly certain that the null tiles are being drawn by the game; they are just black.
The stars in the space tileset are superimposed over anything that's black, not just the tiles. Certain player colors will give you black units, the stars show though them, it's neat.
