I was in a game once and the unit was hitting 0..? How do I do that?

set the damage to 35645234

The max damage is 9999+255*255, which is 75024, so that's impossible. To get 0 dmg, just use SF or SCMD to change it to 0. biggrin.gif

Edit: I got stupid for a second there.

Where did he say he wanted 0 HP?
Either way, a non StarEdit based editor such as StarForge or SCMDraft 2 allows for units to do zero damage or "hit 0" as you say.

Also note that if you do .5 damage it displays 0 damage and actually hurts them.

You can't have fractional damage amounts. I think you meant to say that 0 damage is actually .5 and 2 shots will actually do one damage.

Yes, you can have fractional damage amounts. The fraction just isn't displayed along with the HP.

meh, never knew that, do u actually have to put .5 or .2 or whatever. I just thought even with 0 damage, it does do a bit of damage if u keep attacking

It does. While it is possible to type in fractions for unit damage, there isn't actually any way to make a unit do no damage at all. Their attacks will always cause some damage no matter what.

there are 2 ways but in one, it will just take a long time for it to do 1 dmg
1. set hp and armor too 9999/255 and set unit dmg 1/0
2. using scmdraft or starforge set the units damage to 0 and set the armor to 1 for the unit being attacked

You don't have to set armor. 0 dmg is .5 dmg, regardless of armor.
