Recently I find that they're not making as many GC games as they used to. I own a game cube and there's nothing else to play other than Super Smash Bros melee. Now even Rogers Videos has lost all hope in Nintendo Game cub games. I think the anticipation of the Wii (its a weird name if you ask me, much more [ahem excuse me] "gay" than the cool name than the Revolution)
Recently? Try three years ago.
Well three years ago the amount of games that they were making were waning, but now did they finally stop making games? like not even one?
It was annouced by Nintendo last summer (Or the one before that) that "After Zelda, all our money and profit is going into Revolution (It still had that name back then)" It was in a game informer magazine so I can't scan the exact quote but to answer your question:
Yes.
Any first part support for the Gamecube has ended, seeing as how Zelda is coming out Wii launch day, that doesn't count, not suggesting there was any 3rd party support to begin with.
I feel sorry for those Gamecube REALLY BIG fans who anticipate more Gamecube games.
I wonder if they even make Gamecube games anymore. I used to play that console alot, but now that I have been introduced to the Xbox and Xbox 360 it just blows it away. I'd seriously rather play anything but the Gamecube now.
Although the Gamecube is built the best in my opinion, it still lacks the ability to make good graphics on it. There arent really any good games for it. So yeah, I would say it's dead.
For the people that still play it, what kind of games do you play on it and how do you actually still get a kick out of it while there is a Xbox and Xbox 360 out there waiting for you to play it.

Well, I like Xbox, but when I want to play something besides shooters and sports, I go to Gamecube. SSBM, Mario Kart, and LOZ: Windwaker (I'm beating it for the second time because I want to unlock junk

) are the games I play most on it. I also add in some Paper Mario sometimes...

Yes, really to me the GC seems alot dead. They havnt made a new game in quite sometime, unless i dont know about the game. I wouldnt care, if it would be a game like ONE PIECE....
Start catching up on old classics like Second Sight, XIII, Beyond Good & Evil. There's a lot of treasures to be found, instead of waiting for Mario Party 234234 or sequels (bleh).
Right now, I picked up Phantasy Star Online Episode I&II and I can play online.
I'm trying to complete my singleplayer games like Zelda, King Kong, so I can say I beat them. As for my multiplayer games, my house is 50 miles away from my friends so...
Well I guess they've stopped making Game cube games then. Does anyone know Any new games that GC made. God I have my GameCube just to play classics. (Super Smash Bros)

No. They haven't. Never say that.
They're consantly coming out with new games, and accourding to Nintendo.com the GCN currently has 562 titles. Try looking somewhere other than Rogers video or Zellers for some good GCN games. *coughinternetcough* What type of games are you looknig for, anyway?
yea? try comparing the amount of GCN titles to PS2 and X-box titles, its not that many games compared to that.
ADDITION:
The types of game I'm lookign for? not too hard, just fun like super smash bros. Or star wars games but nintendo is too incompetent to even transfer any Star wars games (except for lego) TO NGC.
Wait for the Wii. Then run around everywhere saying "I GOT A WII"
Rofl, I have to say my opinion, Wii is teh sux0rz compared with Revolution. What is Nintendo thinking?
Well the Nintendo Gamecube had a lot less 3rd party support than both the XBox and the Gamecube.
And yes, Nintendo is focusing on the Wii.
And to play Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2, don't you first need the broadband hookup, then need a hunter license?
If you havn't already, play Eternal Darkness.

They were thinking how much people want to play with there wii. I mean your parents come home and asked what you did today, you can respond I PLAYED WITH MY WII ALL DAY!! I honestly can't wait to play with my wii.
wtheck of a name is the "wii?" y did they change the cool name to a stupid name?
I don't mind it. It'll be great in conversations and well the console will actually be more than a graphical improvment...
Yea but the revolution sounds ALOT cooler, does ANYONE know why they changeed the name?
I don't know. I think they sacrificed audial aesthetics in the name to more correctly reflect their mission.

Try Mario Kart, here's some StarWars games for you.

Splinter Cell games, Resident Evil games, PSO, ToS, BK, plenty of great games out there.
...Who needs new games, when I could be satisfied by playing TIE Fighter through over and over again!
I know the feeling.
