Do we really exist? Or are we all just a thought of god's mind? What happens when we die? Is this really a test life, and when we die, we go on a more challenging life? Post your thoughts please!

I'm the only real person, and everybody and everything exists only to entertain me.

There's a very simple answer to that. No, you don't exist. Only I exist. I am god.
Joke....

You only need one simple quote to solve this question:

"I think, therefore I am..."

It ends up being more along the lines of "I realize I think, therefore I am."

There is only one way to find out - death. I think if there is existance after death, we exist.

Ummm, after all these wierd topics on life like is death bad, any reason to live, life after death, and god topics. I have been thinking of this a lot and before sen even. I think that we exist but it doesnt really matter, when the humans die off earth who is going to be there to be sorry for us or miss us, no one! I think we exist but there is nothing after death. And I dont believe in GOD, I believe in Evolution

Let me ask you this: Why would we NOT exist?
Why does being a thought in someone's mind make you not exist? You would exist for the duration of the thought.

Even though I don't really get most of your post i'll refer to Bill Gates 1st rule of life.

Rule 1: Life is not fair -- get used to it!

As for if we exist, I believe we do, but I believe there is also a life after.

Hey, i thought we could be like, gods playing field. We're all simulations, on god's new game, The Sims! JK, i'm just wondering if this is just a test life. Maybe we'll have all our fantasies come true when we die tongue.gif .

QUOTE
The dimensions of things are created by the limitation of our vision as interpreted by our brain. All around us is nothing but molecules; molecules in the air, molecules in our body, molecules in the space; molecules nothing but molecules. Our limitations of vision make us see only the bundles of molecules together as a table or a chair, a southern belle or a school bell. What if we could see through molecules? Then none of these differences would have mattered. A table would have looked like a chair and the belle would be indistinguishable from a bell. Our tactile feel of warm flesh would be meaningless if we could not feel; a round corner would not appear round at all.

Because we cannot see certain lengths and light waves, objects appear to us as they are displayed by our imagination. These may appear quite different to other species if their ability to see through light waves is different from us. Therefore the question about the real shape of things can not be answered. The flaw in human vision is that it assumes a demarcation of things whereas in reality all things are a continuum of molecules, atoms and subatomic particles. Air, thin, invisible, is yet composed of same type of molecules as make a denser object such as a human body. It is the discrimination of our vision and our perceptible faculties that make things "appear" what they are.

I dont really care, I find that a funny question though. I am having fun living my life, and thats all that matters, when I die... I guess il find out huh?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)7-7 on 2006-07-09 at 20:49:04
Well you really wont, because there is probably nothing therefor you wont think, and you wont think of how bad it is. We exist, but there is a possibility that there are more dimensions than we can see or feel. This is how teleortation is involved. If Black Holes really do exist then there has to be more than just the four dimensions we are ued to! Where does that space go, is time the same, these are the questions that scientists are working on!
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Rantent on 2006-07-09 at 20:58:41
No, infact even science today is pointing to the idea that things only partially exsist here.

I think I exsist though, because I think I can, therefor I do.
