I tried Guild Wars Factions for a little bit, but I couldn't get into it. All MMOs are pretty boring to me. Actually, lemme rephrase that: all MMORPGs are pretty boring to me. I'm pretty excited about the upcoming MMOFPS. That shows a lot of potential, but you'll need like a 1GB/sec connection to get proper fps latencies while battling thousands of people.

You know there's Joint Operations and... it turned to be a lagfest. Other times, you'd ben shooting and you'd suddenly die since they're everywhere.
Factions bad for you?
I gave the game a chance and now I'm a level 20 Warrior/Monk with a Melon Hammer that does 19-35 damage and it does an extra 15% when my health is above 50%.
It's been a week and man I love that game.
It only took me 3 days to get to level 20. Once you're at that level, you're on level with everybody else. To get good items, just collect a couple of a sort and trade it to a NPC collector; that's how I got my hammer.
Strategy is endless; I've bought dozens of skills and I change them around everyday. And of course, online play is FREE!
I highly recommend you give it a try and do the missions. Yes, there's LOTS of walking for some, but when you have lots of skills to play with, it's great fun. If you're ever on, give me a ring; my name is Lemonade Parade.
