Staredit Network -> Website Feedback, Bugs & Discussion -> Can't shout

I can't shout in the shoutbox. It happened to me once before, and I hope that it will pass and I will be able to shout within 10 minutes like last time.

I type in the message, press Shout, it refreshes, and the shout doesen't appear in the shoutbox, is left in the window where I typed it in.

ADDITION:
And the refresh when I can't shout is much faster than normal for some reason.

As I hoped, it passed within 5-7 minutes, and I can post normally now.

Basically, if you don't want to run into this again, do this (it worked for me):
  • Clear your cache
  • Turn off your computer for about 2 hours
  • Turn off your internet connection for about 12 hours
  • Check all internet cables
It's probably your internet connection not functioning correctly. Try that. It worked for me last year.

There's nothing in the code that would cause it. You've got yourself a local problem.
