i want to use a border of 1 square tile alternating with normal ground in my tactical strat/diplo of japan
the border should block the vision of a ground unit

i cant seem to find any thing that works in the doodads or high ground tilesets to block vision, and i also want it to be able to walk over unlike edges of cliffs

Accually, if you place a line of low dirt, and a line of high dirt, and place the unit on low dirt, then the unit cannot see past the high dirt. And the unit can walk on it.

It should work, if not, place the high dirt 2x2.

I don't think it works that well when you just make it a 1x1 tile. For sure, using high terrain on a 2x2 setting can block of vision.

O, and if you have grass on the border, the high grass has the same effect, that way, the borders dont have a distinct area, but still block vision.

There's quite a bit of certain doodad and cliff terrain pieces that are both borders and vision blockers. Go through the tiles you can place until you find one.
