I noticed that armour and weapon upgrade stacks more if you put it go 255 with out any bugs, but what if I did that to other types of upgrades?
Like range upgrade, speed upgrade, sight upgrade, and mana upgrade.
Do I get more range, speed, etc?
Or will it just crash? tongue.gif

It's possible to upgrade them to 255, but you won't get +255 speed/range, you'll still just get +1.

except for scarab damage apparently, that increments properly.

Scarab damage is not a hardcoded upgrade, and neither is Unused 60. Speed, Energy, and Ability upgrades are mainly hardcoded.

It can be preset using Starforge. It upgrades all misc. upgrades such as Nuclear missile damage, Psi Storm damage, Building Armour, etc.

Nukes don't get a damage upgrade from that.

Yes, sadly Nuclear Missile damage is hardcoded. It's understandable, though, because they don't have anything even close to a standard damage profile with splash.

So which unused are which upgrades?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Kenoli on 2006-07-17 at 12:54:25
Everything uses the same one, "Unused 60" in StarForge, the bottom "Unlabeled / Unused" in Scmdraft2.

So, what does it upgrade besides nuke damage, building armour, and psi storm damage?
I noticed the stc.

I explicitly stated that nuke damage is NOT upgraded.

Things that are upgraded include:
Worker damage (SCV, Probe, Drone)
Building attack damage (Photon Cannon, Sunken/Spore Colony, Missile Turret)
Building armor
Spells (Psionic Storm damage, maybe others)
Infested Terran/Scourge/Spider mine damage
