O.K., finally finished the beta release of it, but you should know a few things.

1: Don't use Conversion spells on bosses, or you can't beat the game.
2: Scroll of Town Portal doesn't work yet, I'm still doing that.
3: This isn't for multiplayer, unless player 2-4 i think, want to be necromancers.
4: The spell Redemtion (Paladin) Doesn't always work, sometimes it gets you mana for kills, sometimes it freezes your mana.
5: There's cooldown times for some spells, like Hydra, so if you use it and can't use it again, wait a bit and try again.
6: Hydra and Death Sentry Sometimes don't show up.

It needs to be totally re-worked. The spell system is crap, choose system is crap, the firepit is like... wtfage??


I'll make the Act 1 town to show you what COULD be done. Starcraft's limits are far beyond this.

100% is when everything works and is reallygood, right now its at about 70

i'm betting you used a "if cur. player suffers at least 1 death of 'Boss' " as a condition. change it to "if all players control 0 'Boss' " and add a trigger for the human players that kills their "Boss" if and when it's converted. kinda cheap, really, to just MC a unit and beat that boss...

BTW, at least one Diablo 2 Act 1 has been made, and the one I played worked great. It's called Truer Diablo 2... dunno if I submitted it...

I'm outta time right now but later I can help you troubleshoot the other problems you listed.

EDIT: Don't EVER name your names with the word "Best", it just makes you look the ever more stupid when people find all the flaws reflecting your lack of commitment to improving the map.

I am doing that, its just that i haven't done all the triggers for other people which is what I'm doing right now.

Well, when I started making this, its was the time when alot of people played those really stupid ones, there it was based off some DBZ-ALl Saga deal or something like that, so I wanted to bring back an RPG instead of those.

Shocking..

Things About map:
-- Heal doesn't work for paladin.
-- When ya goto buildings you get exp, Gah.
-- Way to easy.
-- Spell system needs work. happy.gif;
-- Terrain bit poor.
-- Den too short.
-- Blood raven got owned -_- i had 15 Weapon // 10 armor
-- Get money way too fast.
-- Lvl up fast. =/

Some ideas:
-- HP lvl up system + Mana.
-- Better spell system, Eg. Buildings, Dropship system.
-- Hero selection could been design better.
-- Try using custom exp maybe? i'll even give you the trigger below.
-- Strong enemies.
-- Less dmg on heroes.
-- Was no rogues in encampment?
-- Item shop needs work, Can buy stuff on go.
-- Terrain needs bit of work.
-- Hope this map is only beta.

Custom Exp Trigger:

How much exp needed to level.

Conditions:
-Always

Actions:
- Modify score for Current Player: Set to 500 Custom

Conditions:
- Current Player commands exaclty 1 Druid
- Current Player has suffered exaclty 0 deaths of Ursadon
- Current Player Custom Score exaclty 0

Actions:
- Set hit points for 1 Druid owned by Current Player at anywhere to X%
- Modify score for Current Player: Set to XXXX Custom
- Modify death counts for Current player: Set to 1 Unrsadon
- Send Transmission to current player n say whatever you like.

If you dont know how do exp trigger then here it is.

Exp Trigger:

Conditions:
- Current Player kills score is at least X
- Current Player kills score is at most X

Actions:
- Modify score for current player: subtract X kills
- Modify score for current player: subtract X custom
- Modify resources for current player: add x minerals
- Preserve trigger

I remember having a Diablo 2 map where you buy stuff and that weapon or armor(another unit) follows you. It had all the lightning enhanced and fire enhanced stuff with it too. The terrain of it sucked too though.

Nope, you can choose a class. I suggest you give up the idea now to avoid looking like a fool. Too many bugs and whatnots, are you actually TRYING? Don't just rush the whole thing to an attachment before you actually test it out yourself! And by testing it doesn't mean simply recording what went wrong: FIX THE PROBLEMS!

Im going retake my " shocking " back and say " WTFAGE " is this map? Dude i was barbian had mass army of them gg owned! 69 Def 50 weapon ups. =/ Army was ownage, EzDay2 was der with me -_- using carrier (lol) gg super carrier.

Ya, I mced the Carrier, Mutalisk, and Wraith...
you don't have any triggers to kill them incase they leave their item area...
add lots more triggers.
This is very choppy. Holey. It has lots of holes.
And, ya, his army of Dual Wields was excruciatingly cheap, along with the fact that we had more than 10 ups before we even left the camp, because we gained mysterious money whenever we went to the upgrade area... O_o

Okay, well, I'll do as much as I can, but one question. You guys said the speel system needs work, but what about it? The way you cast, the speels them selves?Just so you no, I don't have enough units for dropship, but I could use a building system instead.

Try the building system then, under the building have the units so people can click on them to see their names. Also when the hero learns a new skill, just give the requirements for the unit. The terrain still needs a hell of a lot of work. Maybe you can use the item system the other one did. Like you buy an item and it like follows you or whatever. Also the enhancements crap, I like that too.

How about we look at the map after the changes are made, then give you our comments, etc. Then before the final release, add anti-hacks and anti-cheats to the map, give it to me so I can find little bugs in it you can fix, etc. Fix it whatever. What the censored.gif did I just say??

DK, why not just play Truer Diablo 2?
maybe the same reason why more people use IE than Mozilla... they just don't know about it... either that or you just like helping people, which is good

As in have the units for a NEUTRAL player so your spell system don't get messed up. The above quote is a very good suggestion to all mappers out there who use a Building system, too bad not all of them are here to see it...

Ok, I'll add more items, weapons, elements too. I'll try to get a building system working also. I'll post it again when I finish that. Items can't leave your inventory, You can only have one Duel Wield and Shadow Warrior right now.

Here's a suggestion, when I was playing d2 act 5 rpg it was pretty tough until I figured out something to abuse. When you get farther into the game the enemies get tougher right so experience is harder to gain. Well you can revisit the first areas and kill the easy enemies to get a ton of exp. Make it so if someone gets past a certain level killing enemies in one area don't give you exp.

Better yet, once all players reach a specific level, stop spawning enemies in low-level places.

Oh and also only spawn enemies if a player is in that area.
