I think I understand and, I wouldn't think you could do it with no locations, but with you would make one location goto the marine constantly, and make the medic attack to it?? I don't know but thats my best guess. confused.gif Other than having locations, I'm stuck with no idea. But I think a medic will follow a hurt ally untill its full of health.

Well you cant make the medic follow the marine without a trigger. You need to have a location follow the marine, using hyper triggers so the medic doesnt fall back. Then make another trigger making the medic follow that location.

Meh, you dont need hyper triggers. The marine moves preety slow, so the medic will still catch up. So in conclusion: Yes you need a location that follows

I wouldn't put hypers on it. If anything, that will cause the Medic to get in the player's way.

He asked to do it without locations. If the Medic is Neutral, then this is impossible. No raw AI scripts cause a neutral unit to move, and you would have to use a location in the trigger in order to make it move.

In theory the medic should follow the unit around if the medic is controlled by a computer, the medic is allied with the player, the player's unit can be healed by the medic, and the player's unit is damaged. I have no idea if a neutral medic will heal another player by default.

So yes, you could make it follow you around, but you would run into problems trying to make your unit constantly damaged.

Just use a location with the order action.

Why do you want to do this without using any locations? Perhaps we could find a way to work around the reason why you don't want to use a location, at which point having the medic follow the marine becomes elementary.
