What is the easiest way to play StarCraft on Battle.net without having the CD in the drive?

Using a virtual drive of a Starcraft: Brood War image file.

Maybe someone could explain how to make a virtual drive?

http://www.magiciso.com/download.htm

I got this and I made it so that my comp thinks broodwar is in the pc.

I tried doing this for warcraft III, but blizzard got smart and it won't work. =/

First, you would need either Daemon-tools, Alcohol 120, Power ISO or any other virtual cd/dvd programs..

Then you need a program to make the image files.. I'm pretty sure Alcohol 120 can do this..

Programs would be like, MagicISO or UltraISO.. Anyway, you find the option to make a cd/dvd image and then select the CD that you want to make an image of..

Then use Daemon-tools to make a virtual drive of the ISO.

The programs I would recommend are UltraISO and Daemon-tools...

http://www.daemon-tools.cc and just google UltraISO

For WC3, you would need a No CD Crack sad.gif

If you need any help, just PM me ;\

PM DEAD, he's good with these things. Valve's games are the only ones he's actually payed for, because he hasn't figured out how to crack Steam's system.

You can't crack steam, but the games are pretty easy to pirate..

I've done CS:Source, and HL2... but the HL2 torrent I downloaded was pretty poor quality, load speeds made the game pretty unplayable.

I hope it's a little more polished than that, it seemed to move my portals.

You can put the cd in, then take it out while brood war is already running, it works, but I don't think thats what you want by the way these guys say...weird thing is, i got alchol 120% and daemon but it was gay so I deleted it...I thought they were to burn cd's but I just use Nero. My friend put them on my computer, lol.

Well, yea, I can play Valve games on non-steam servers as well as download them for free. But I really like steam and VAC, I can easy browse through hundreds of servers for any game and play with people who doesn't cheat.

Also, if you are doing this because you have 1 disk and 2 comps, you can:
1. Put Disk in Comp A
2. Get on B.net on Comp A
3. Take disc out of Comp A
4. Put disc in Comp B
5. Start up B.net in Comp B

I found that some sprites will crash the one without the disc.

(I think -bilal92- was saying this)
