Will it ever be possible, in future editors, for it to have all the tilesets in one? Just a concept that I was pondering 2 minutes go... meh.

No. Starcraft only loads one tileset and cannot load more.

Theoretically it can be done, through modding. Before he quit, Heimdal was talking about making StarForge compatible with mods, and this was one of his ideas.

Yes, but mix 2 tilesets in one throught modding mean lose tiles of both of them, or use all the black unused tiles for put there the other tileset.

Yes that would be good, 2 or more tiles in one map.

Would be excellent for my map.

Yes, but all users would need to have the same map, not because of the tile images, but because of the tile properties (walkable zone, buildable, etc)

how bout turning terrains into sprites? possible?

Nope. Sorry. They're completely different things.

Yeah, the sprites are an special type of 'units' that are not defined in units.dat. If you open StarDat.mpq, the sprites grps are inside the 'unit' folder. Also, they are ALWAYS walkable, that's why doodads needs a terrain section: The unwalkable area.

Therefore unlike Warcraft III it isn't possible, as they said, its all about the location of the data on the objects. With a Mod, yes it would be possible, though everyone would need it like normal on B.Net
