I've been working on a random Ash world melee map, but I've only been able to test it once so far, due to time restrictions. If anyone could test and offer suggestions/point out bugs, it would be greatly appreciated

I already know a few of the issues, such as certain paths being too small, and epxos need re-arranging, and will take care of those when I get home from work.

When I tested it, the computers stopped building because they ran out of minerals, and I was mineral starved through pretty much the entire thing, so I added more.

They are there because the last time I tested the map, everyone went mineral-starved. The main-base mineral layout is "funky" because I didn't want them to be symmetrical. If you have issues playing like that, then I will re-arrange that, but so far only someone off-forum has tested it, and he liked the mineral arrangement, so I cannot change it until I actually have someone test it in a game.

[sub]I think the correct way to handle 'mineral-starved' is to add maybe another real expansion on land, not place random mineral tiles around. The standard main usally has 7-8 mineral tiles, and are usally arranged in a way to not waste space. MA makes a good example of a basic mineral layout here.[/sub]



ADDITION:
[sub]And along with that, everything else seems very random. The bases are not the same size, the thin paths leading to the middle lets terran control the ground, the middle is useless, no one would want to take it for a 4 mineral expansion. If your going to keep it a ground map, and not an island map, the bases could really use a natural. All the bases have places you could drop tanks behind the mains and destroy them with ease.

Also, fix the problems you already know are wrong while your at it.[/sub]
