Looks like AMD's 15 minutes of fame are over. biggrin.gif

Theyre retaliating with price cuts but are they deep enough? The x2 5000 is looking pretty good right now. I think ill have to upgrade at AMD's expense. smile.gif Unbelieveable how much money they were milking from us.

I just can't wait till AMD drops prices on their AM2.. then I'll probably get like an Athlon 3800x2

Honestly... do you really need a top of the line processor for gaming now? Maybe video card.. but definately not processor sad.gif

And to think sooner or later I'll need to get a PPU too sad.gif

Specifically.. this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103735 smile.gif But I'd have to get a whole new computer for it.. but my birthday is coming up soon so meh tongue.gif

I'm still sticking with AMD.

Eh...you people dont understand. For 300 bucks you can get a processor that outperforms an fx-62. And the E6400 is the same as x2-5000 but 60 bucks cheaper....why get an amd.

Because I'm an AMD Fanboy! smile1.gif

And, even though it performs much better, I can't afford 300 dollars for just a processor. Even though it's probably the best price/performance processor.. sad.gif

Well... I was thinking of getting a computer that would suit me... built it myself, pretty sure everything is compatible.. might want a TV Tuner, though..
