Looks like AMD's 15 minutes of fame are over.

Theyre retaliating with price cuts but are they deep enough? The x2 5000 is looking pretty good right now. I think ill have to upgrade at AMD's expense.

Unbelieveable how much money they were milking from us.

I just can't wait till AMD drops prices on their AM2.. then I'll probably get like an Athlon 3800x2

Honestly... do you really need a top of the line processor for gaming now? Maybe video card.. but definately not processor

And to think sooner or later I'll need to get a PPU too

Eh...you people dont understand. For 300 bucks you can get a processor that outperforms an fx-62. And the E6400 is the same as x2-5000 but 60 bucks cheaper....why get an amd.

And, even though it performs much better, I can't afford 300 dollars for just a processor. Even though it's probably the best price/performance processor..

Well... I was thinking of getting a computer that would suit me... built it myself, pretty sure everything is compatible.. might want a TV Tuner, though..
