when i try to run starforge i need "stardat.mpq" or somthing like that which leads me to thinking i need starcraft or the starcraft editor on my computer to run SF...
what do i do because i need SF on this computer if ima do any work...
OFF TOPIC: also if you do need SC to run SF is it the same for SCM Draft2 too? because ima get that afterwards

yes you do need sc installed. It makes things much much easier and i'm not sure if it will work without it. I know Xtra editor is the same way. I would install sc and try it again.

You need it to save in the correct format and load units and stuff I think. Just load starcraft and it goes away

To run SF you need to have starcraft installed.
Because it reads the Stardat.mpq file.
Go to your starcraft directory and look for stardat.mpq then click on it and you should have it loaded

If you install sc after you have starforge just re-install starforge
