Well, I have to start doing some ash work, so I decided to start fairly simple with some custom doodads and a little ramp work.

The last screenshot shows an unfinished attempt at a backwards ramp... Key word "unfinished".

Last picture interesting. Neat ideas.

If your going to do ashworld terrain, you might as well learn from what previous people have attempted.

I dont think I will ever be good at anything other than jungle...(and I'm not that great at jungle anyways

)... All the other tiles are so dark that I can't tell which peices blend or not... Jungle seems to be one of the brightest tilesets by far... Anyways, what I'm getting at is that when someone does anything out of jungle it is very impressive to me cause I know I can't do it

Ratings mean little to me.

ADD: And yeah, I agree with you, ash tiles are very dark. And for some reason they appear darker in the editor (?) so when I test in game it looks way blockier than I thought it was.

You would think so, but certain tiles are darker than even the darkest of tilesets; especially when your using the tileset index.(for some reason everything is like 40% darker there...

)

Hey your...things are pretty good...
i started to do ashworld too..well...i started to do terrain

so here are some doodads i made fast...some of them are blocky others are good.
it's just to give you a small idea of how poor ashland terrain is

Ashworld is a very good training-wheels tileset designed for people to graduate to the even more picky, Jungle tileset.
