What other map sizes work besides 64, 96, 128, 192 and 256? I'm working on an RPG with a combat system and I want a huge world map. Preferably, something larger than 256.

You cannot have a map larger than 256 x 256. Ill search around for the other map sizes I think its any number divisible than 12.

You can't have either map dimension over 256, it will crash. I've heard rumors of larger maps, but I haven't seen any.

As far as "working" map sizes, almost anything 1-256 goes.
If you use non-standard sizes, you'll need to play some other map first.

Kenoli is right, but you don't need to play a different map first if ONE of the dimensions is normal. For example, 64x32 would work while 32x32 would not.

Whoops, forgot to mention that.
It's kinda funny that you used my example from somewhere else.

I knew I read it somewhere, but I didn't know it was you tongue.gif And I didn't use the same example on purpose, it probably just came to mind from reading it before.

AND if one of you map sizes is an odd number, there is a higher chance the minimap will screw up. (I'm pretty sure always.)
