The reason I gave up WoS: Terran was because of reasons I can no longer remember, though I bet the main one was laziness. Anyway now I'm gonna fix it up a bit and add stuff like Respawning, more Missions, and a few triggers to punish the human players if they try to kill the computer ally. Yes, it WAS fun to do it, but free experience wasn't very fair.

The original WoS did NOT have respawning because I was trying to make the map as realistic as possible, and one factor was to keep your guy alive: hide, run, fly the moment you're spotted by too many enemy units! But since that made people shun the map, I'm going to add it in.

Would anyone volunteer to add some AI stuff into the map so the computer units don't stand still? I'm NOT talking about AI scripts, just some Patrol triggers that I'm too lazy to think of or use... eh if all fails I can just use a Junkyard Dog script lol

Comments? Suggestions? Encouragements? Death threats? That's what the posts are for

pcfredz, I'll kill you with the candlestick.

Jk. Well you know how the computer should keep making units and stuff, well you should make the computer send units with the players, like the computer units will follow the player while he goes into combat instead of going in alone. For an anti-backstab just put an always alliance on 0 waits.

Also fix the text so it doesn't just shoot millions of characters at you. That always gets readers confused, and "Wow holy censored.gif in censored.gif there's so much text, I'm not reading this." when it could be not even one line of text, a wait, followed by another line so it could be like "Holy censored.gif when does this guy stop talking... ok so I go to the bottom of the map and kick ass, alright.

Also don't make it so moving the ship out of the selection area doesn't make you lose. sad.gif

Sheesh I'm not an idiot lol...

DK, thanks for the anti-BS tip, but it still doesn't prevent you from nuking the base! 'Bout the texts, I certainly tried to shorten the messages in the Beta version (a while ago actually), could you be more specific which messages are too long? Note that this map, like all other maps I have, isn't locked, so you can open it up and browse through the triggers. Personally I think people who lock up their maps are way too paranoid. Lastly, about the ship thing, it was your own fault you kept trying to get out lol... but with hyper triggers on (I never put them in yet), it'll never happen again. Happy?
