Here's some interesting terrain I made when I first got starforge. (Ignore the sprites they were new to me at the time so i got trigger happy with em. smile.gif) It ain't as good as bolt_head's and yoshi's skyscrapers and whatnot, but anyone is free to use the ideas this map.

Which brings me to my main point... Can everyone who's made cool terrain in starforge please post maps in this forum (or screenshots.)

Wow Pirateking.

Nice Caves, but cant a unit just walk through the walls since they are made of sprite components?

Also: keep posting cool terrain everyone! I've already seen some of boltheads and yoshi's skyscrapers though.... those are nice looking.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by qPirateKing on 2004-08-01 at 18:14:29
Nope, you can't walk through the walls because I made a cave with normal terrain before putting the sprites on top. Play the map, you'll see tongue.gif.

Nice little mountain D-Von, However keep in mind what your making, If it is a natural made item (like a mountain) the surface needs to be more random.

I had a question ever since seeing the first screens for the Enter the Matrix map. How are those skyscrapers created? Is it just placing doodads one above the other in SCMD 2? Or is it some other way?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Deathknight on 2004-08-02 at 11:17:01
It was using Starforge. All you do is find a square piece of terrain and put it together with other square pieces so it doesn't look all "squarey". wink.gif

Some one hold me back. . .

Your average and you don't even know how to place terrain? Why is that difficult?
