The Battle for Middle-Earth

[attachmentid=20337]

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

I highly suggest that you check out the included map of the terrain. I spent many, many hours polishing it to that level. In WoodenFire's words, "It isn't bad." biggrin.gif

Oh no! Another LotR map! Le gasp!

Sorry. Anyways. Glad to see someone is making something OTHER THAN helms deep. It got kinda old after you see it like every day.

I've seen the game in action. What kinda heros do you get per player, or do you just get them all at once? like the good ol' helms deep maps. mellow.gif

Why don't you check out the terrain map included in the first post of the thread? Also, every player gets 3 heroes that they can buy (and rebuy, whenever their heroes die). Beyond that, every alliance player can find a hero, but they will be unable to regain that hero provided that hero dies. As for the forces of shadow, they can each find a Nazgûl, and as long as an evil player (or the computer) controls Barad-dûr, that Nazgûl can respawn (once every three or so minutes).

ADDITION:
Wow, this is hardly getting any response at all from the community. I'll post screenshots tomorrow.

Don't worry.. I got small response in my topic too.. Well I am still getting small..

I hope the map wont have those ULTRA-MEGA-PAWNER Heros.. It should be like :
  • Orc - 100 HitPoints
  • Hero - 1000 Hitpoints
  • Siege Engine/Wte - 300/400 Hitpoints

You got the Idea? tongue.gif

Added screenshots. I wish that SEN wouldn't make pictures shrink so much. They're ridiculously small on my monitor, so I must apologize. Just click on them to enlarge and see what I'm really talking about.

Wow, this game really looks interesting even though im not that much into Lord of the Rings. Nice screenies, makes the map actually look fun unlike all the other ones. hope its not rigged. If you need a tester PM me.
