I tried to edit triggers on SCMDraft but unfortunately they look much more complicated than starforge, and starforge is extremley complicated. Does anyone know how to use triggers for SCMDraft?

I hate SCMDraft's trigger editor. Use SF or X-tra Editor. Or Uberation 2 for EUDS happy.gif

Everyone is constantly flaming TrigEdit (the non GUI trigger editor for SCMD) but I find myself using it more and more. It's actually quite useful for copying triggers for different players. Let's say, for example, that you're making a BattleCraft map and you need different unit buying triggers for each player. [If each player has a different spawn location.] Instead of having to click and modify 50 triggers painstakingly by hand, you could just copy the triggers you made for Player 1 into Notepad, do a find and replace to make them for Player 2, 3, etc., and copy them back into TrigEdit. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be wondering why you ever used Classic so much.

i used it to edit 200 exp save system triggers and it was a lot faster then Starforge because i didnt have to scroll down each time but then when i did save and what not to save the triggers it didnt save and i lost 200 triggers worth of editing thats why im mad at the SCMDraft normal trigger editor. but it is deffinately good at copy and paste triggers in big chunks

You clicked save not Compile.

Did you forget to click the "Compile Triggers" button in TrigEdit. smile.gif You have to do that before you exit TrigEdit and then when you save the map they should stay.
