>Description<
In Summoner's RPG, the world of Aleria has suddenly become very dangerous. The region of Korada, a land of eternal darkness, has suddenly sent its fierce native creatures into neighboring lands. A clan of five summoners, sends one to each of the neighboring regions around Korada. You take the role of one of these summoners and must rid your assigned region, the land of Neihk, of the Koradans. I plan to have around twenty distinct areas, with over a hundred missions.
You are not alone, you recieve help from your summon. It cannot be directly controlled, but is a powerful friend. If it should die, it will take a large portion of your energy and a bit of time to bring it back. It can of course, be strengthened as you grow.
You are also able to use spells, with a planned wide variety that will be grow more accessable as you get stronger. Some of these spells will take time, while others will be instantaneous.
You will also be able to raise Cattle, which are cat-like horses. They are quite intelligent and provide gifts and luck to those who posess them. Each of them will unlock one or multiple secrets within the game if obtained. You raise them one at a time (no order) by feeding them 12 pieces of food. Some Cattle must be fed their food in a specific order to become different Cattle. There are to be 9 total, with a total of 10 collectable pieces of food.

Well hope this comes out good. If you need a tester PM me. Wat spells are you going to have?

I am planning on not primarily using VHP for my spells, but units quicking coming and going to act as spells. Such as one spell is going to create Scarabs to shoot at the target and another Medics to heal in the general area that they were cast. Many of them are still in the works, but each of them will be unique.

This RPG is going to be all its own. I promise to make it as original as possible.

Ah man another map about summoning. This is starting to get old.

How will you earn the summons? And do each players get differnt 1s?

This is a Single Player map. The summons are going to be a thing all their own. I am making a whole new system, like they arent even under your control for starters.

Currently, I am planning on only giving one summon. But that may change.

Sorry about not doing much in my part. I have started it, but currently there's not much done. I've been busy as hell lately, and between my solo map, Evil Dead, and this one, I haven't gotten much done at all, nor have I even had time to sit down and contemplate on either.

It's quite allright. Just please provide these needy people of SEN of some good screenshots and updates on the terrain portion.

So is this an RPG or Diplo? Also, you say it's Single Player but Five Summoners are sent out to different regions? I don't understand...

This is an RPG. As for the five summoners, thats more related to why you can pick a summon and arent given a set Summon.

It sounds..okay..but I don't think "cleansing an area" can really be considered an RPG.

as long as your ROLE PLAYING a GAME its an RPG that doesn't make it good of course but we can't say its not an RPG...hopefully this will be good, I played summoners RPG..I didn't like it, if your refering to that game that is.

Anyways . . .
Having only one summon that can level up is basically the exact same as having one hero that can level up, so I don't see the point. If there are summons, then there should be at least 3 that you should be able to summon.

The whole point is different paths down the game. One summon is what u get becuase u need to re-summon it, level it, just as your own unit too levels up, while going out and doing missions that ultimately lead to ridding the area of monsters. But you mostly run around doing errands and are most likely going to do minigames, like fishing.

RPG like lots of Missions or lots of action like in Diablo ?

Like lots of missions and alot of backtracking like any good RPG.
