On my mac os9 i the navmenu
Forums Community Mapping Games Site
is all like a couple lines lower than it should be, kinda hard to see sometimes, usually infront of a link so its hard to click. Is there a way you can make it all normal? I use Internet Explorer. is it just the mac OS or the Internet Explorer program? Or just ur code is off?

Its because you're using I.E. on a Mac. Safari on my OS X has it look fine. Same with Firefox. I.E. on the other hand makes it look distorted.

Well, to be honest the HTML in v4 isn't very good.
Try running it through the W3 HTML Validator...

So, generally, yeah, the display isn't going to be too good everywhere. tongue.gif

could you add the code to detect the web browser and set it to the working html version for that current user who is using that web browser so it wont be distorted?
javascript should do this perfectly.. if it can.. tongue.gif

It can but the admins are too busy to do it. And you're on a mac so WHY exactly aren't you using Safari?

You know, "navmenu" sounds like "Death menu" in Latvian. tongue.gif

Use FireFox. I don't know why, but DEAD does. tongue.gif

Tech Support of the Day: Your problem is that you're using a Mac.

On a side note, those new Mac commercials piss me off. They forgot to add the innumerable awesome games that are on the PC. Oh, and it's not as if you can't edit movies, photos, etc. on PCs either. disgust.gif

At least Apple figured out that they couldn't use their own crappy hardware anymore. I don't know why they switched to Intel though...

Oh, I get it. Microsoft was really tricky on this. They released IE to the Macs so that the Macs would get tons of viruses, spyware, and stuff, and then they would switch to the stable Windows. smile.gif

Seriously, my advice to you: Get Firefox.

I 100% agree with you man. There is nothing you can do worse on a PC than on Mac, but there are lots of things you can do on a PC but can't do on a mac at all. crazy.gif

I misread the topic name as "The Mac vs Windows Debate Thread", but apparently I was mistaken. The posts came close to fooling me, though. smile.gif
