Played it, finished it.
It's pretty fun, although my computer can barely play FEAR without lag. It's not scary at all, only the parts where you suddenly get transported to the hospital and theres blood everywhere. The ending is best of the entire game though! The railgun and rocket launcher is the most fun

Seriously, F.E.A.R. ranks up there with Call of Duty and Jedi Outcast for my favorite shooters of all time (single player that is). If you want really scary, check out BioShock which will be coming out sometime (not sure when). However, F.E.A.R. still had its scary moments with the deathly artificial locales and effects (sound and lighting). Things get really creepy (not poop your pants scary, but thrilling rather) the "deeper" (a pun) you get into the game.
