Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Hyper Trigger Glitch?

Does anyone know if the hyper trigger is reliable?
It seems that sometimes the hyper trigger will take effect (all triggers occur quickly as I like) and then sometimes the triggers are not as fast..and are delayed. It's weird.

You are either experiencing a wait block or the next ending occurence.

The NEO is a lapse in hyper triggers when it waits between trigger cycles. This can be pushed back by adding in more hyper trigger blocks.

A wait block occurs when several triggers with waits occur so it ends up waiting for the first wait to finish.

I remember i was doing a sequel to a movie map i made, it had cool music and everything went fine. then i added hyper triggers and nothing worked anymore! I got really pissed off cause it was going so good and i trusted hyper triggers back then crazy.gif ranting.gif (of course i had tried removing the hypers after the glitch, but it didnt do anything, the map was possibly corrupted or something)

maybe you have a wait trigger in the hyper triggers main, say a computer or neutral computer?

wtf is a hyper triggers main?

try giving the hypers to a computer palyer, and make sure that player has abosultely no triggers with waits in them(not counting hypers obviously). like Mind Archon said, its also highly possible that you're experiencing wait blocks. either of us can elaborate more on it if you need it.

If you are going to use Hyper Triggers you cannot use Waits anywhere else in the map, or it will delay everything causing horrendous results.

Using Hyper Triggers is relatively simple, but to make them work with other triggers in the map things get much more complicated. Here is a tutorial on Death Counters, a far more confusing subject:

No, if you have hypertriggers you can use waits too. The only thing that doesn't work is having two waits running simultaneously for the same player. If the hypers are given to player 8, who has no other wait triggers, the hypers and a wait for Player 1 could run at the same time without incident.

Once you get it so there is 1-0 other waits running at a time per player and the hyper triggers at the bottom of the list, everything will work fine.
