Jailbreak
YOu begin the map controlling a group of prisoners (Terran Civilians). A short time into the map the prison ship you are on is attacked and the dorr to your cell is opened due to a malfunction.
This is another map I'm trying to make off of a previous idea I had that didn't really work out. It's sort of a reenvisioning/version 2.0.

Could be interesting, show us a bit of your terrain ;D
I'm assuming the Display Texts aren't working properly for multiple human players?
Here's a tip. Use a death count to keep track of what is supposed to be said. Assign this death count to a computer player, and increment it as the plot progresses.
Whenever you want the text to be displayed, run the trigger for the entire Force of the human players. The condition would be "Computer Player suffers exactly X deaths of Y unit", and the action would be "Display Text". Then make another trigger with the exact same condition, but for the computer player instead of the human players, and make the action "Modify deaths for Computer Player: add 1 deaths of Y unit". This way the trigger executes once for every player, and then the "Add 1" executes for the computer player, ensuring that all players read the text, and the text won't repeat.
You stoles my idea Fred, stoles it.
Or was that the solution to DEAD's problem when he was working on BB?

Sounds good, I was gonna think of something like that.
Good job!
So ur giving up on the map?
Make sure you have the "Always Display" box checked in your display triggers.
He wouldn't give up on a map due to one bug that is sure to be fixable..

I'm not giving up on the map, what I meant was that I don't think that Fred's idea is going to work.
I've checked the always display box for every display text trigger.
I've made sure and tested that the trigger functions are being filled
I've made separate triggers so that the display text is the only function.
No matter what I do it seems that only a few display texts show up in the game.

Post your map so we can help, that's what we're here for!
I mean attach it here, DLDB has a 40+ queue.
Ok, sorry, I'm still getting used to this forum style.
Here it is:
Can't even open the map...
Ok, I'm not working on the original map anymore. I've almost completed the version 2.0 map if you want to see it. I personally think it's much better. Different idea now, no zerg, but it should fit into the plot of the original game better.
(If you want to see the entire cinematic do the vision cheat)
Its very cool i'm going to play it then

Yeah, I redid the old map because:
1. It didn't seem to work on non-macintosh computers
2. It didn't fit into the storyline of the games very well
3. I really didn't like the old map...................at all
So I remade the same general idea and, thus, the new map.
