I've noticed in games like Mario Paint Ball that when you in the trees, there's a chance you will not be hit by an attack unless it is melee. Example would be two hydras, one is in the open and another one is hidden among the trees. They both attack at the same time. The one in the tree will survive and the one in the open would die. This does not always happen, so times it can be a draw, meaning they both hit. Another thing would be ledges, of course if you the ghost on the ledge, you will be able to see the enemy, while the one next to the ledge cannot. When the one on the ledge attacks, the one being hit will get a sight bonus, meaning they will see the who attacked them. If you are ranged, you could fight back and occasionally miss just like with the trees. Another thing, I was playing a game the other day (Can't remember which) there was a tank sitting on a ramp. I attacked it with my ghost and he missed. Another attack proved successful. Could anyone explain this? Does it do this because of what type of terrain the unit is standing on? What do you think?
