Maybe some of you have heard, but we all know the game The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion right? ESRB has re rated this game Mature, due to some mod
. Sucks doesn't it?
We already had a thread about this...
We do? I can't find it
I don't like it when fantasy games are rated teen... Seriously, there isn't any sexual stuff in there, not cursing(at least heavy, not even sure if there is any) I don't think it deserves the rating, and this might criple sales a bit
I dont believe we had a topic about this; however, I we already had a dicussion about this... And this is pretty old news, well it was a mod that supposely revealed the "nude" mode to the game which was suppose to be in the game itself... But I dont think it makes a big difference, I mean becuase GTA is rated M doesnt mean little 12 year olds dont play it or something... I think this should be closed... :\
Whoops, I'm sorry. I guess i was frustrated i wasn't going to be able to play oblivion
Well why cant you play oblivion? Just tell your parents or something. Unless your like 12 im pretty sure you can play it... :\ its a fun game, just play it... Its not like as if its GTA or something... No hoes, sex, and drugs so its fine to play so just go buy it lol...
Elder Scrolls III Oblivion should be rated Teen. Just Rent it first, show your parents, and buy the thing. Just like the other guy said there are no hoes, sex, and drugs.
Meh, I thought we had a thread.

By The Way it's Elder Scrolls IIII Oblivion.
And The Reason Was Because Of Hacks Macking Characters Having No Tops On.
And Heavily Blood In Great Graphics.
It Does Sorta Have Drugs Like Beer and Brandy also Whiskey.
But it doesnt show the guy doing the drugs.
You can't buy mature games at a young age without a parent or guardian though, and that's sort of a problem for some people.
Supermarkets have beer, but nobody complains about that

Oblivion doesn't deserve a Mature rating. It's just that the ESRB got caught with their pants down during the Hot Coffee thing, so now they needed to overreact and protect their fragile egos.
Yes, ESRB tryed to distract everyone during hot coffee by giving GTA an AO rating.
Why they leave that kind of material on the disc has always wondered me.
And jack thompson will come out of his hut again...
It's not that it's rated mature, it's just that its too expensive. $55 - $65
.
There was two reasons why this game was rated M for Mature. First, the game itself has blood and gore, the president of ESRB mentioned that there are hanging corpses and such. Second, the modification was actually a file inside The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion game itself, she (president) said that the modder found the file in Elder Scrolls, the modder didn't make it, he just looked at it and used it. The two things how San Andreas got AO and how Oblivion got M is because both game were published by 2K games. 2K studio may be a bad company by doing this, yet 2K launched the hot coffee for San Andreas.
