New Spin On Golems(need a Name)
Basically I got the idea after playing a bunch of games of Blood & Magic. I decided to revamp and remake the old Golems madness maps! However I've added a bit of strategy to it.
You don't mass in my game. No. No massing. You can, but its hard. Basically you make golems from different parts you buy, each part costs 1 mineral. When your golem dies, you get half of what you spent in parts back (IE: A four part golem would get 2 mins back.), Golems can be made with 2, 3, or 4 parts with special golems being made with special parts (1 of 4)
Progress
-Ideas•The Forge system is almost done, I just need a bit of tweaking and refining.
•The Golem parts have been put in place, including the specials.
•The way the game is going to work is complete- mainly how you loose the game and stuff.
•I've disgned this to be either a 2v2 or 1v1 game.
-Terrain•Terrain is 100% complete, but still subject to change.
-Unit placement•So far I've only placed the Golem Parts and the Specials, as well as Forge upgrades.
-Triggers•Haven't touched them.

Storyline / Introduction
Basically you are a golem maker. You take specific parts from different machines that work, and make them into monsters after throwing them in your large Forge. Recently you've entered in a tournement! Now you are competing with other Golem Makers for the victory- a contact for the creation of the Kinds royal military.
Features
-Player InterfaceBasically the same as most would think, you come up with combinations of parts and sometimes chuck in a special part. Kills get you points and minerals, 1 mineral each to be exact, and every kill gets you gas. Once you get a certain ammount of gas it goes back to 0 and you can get a Forge Upgrade. Computers are essential in this, as your forge would have NO defence without them.
Also a random boss unit will spawn in the Arena every now and then.
-What's new in your map that others have not done before?•Strategic Golem creation- not just mindless massing.
•A whole new take on the creation of golems.
Details
-How the Golem Creation works.•You pick X ammount of parts, then put them inside your overlord. Once you have the desired parts, you bring it over your Zerg Beacon to forge them into your golem. You use these golems to fight!
•When you upgrade your forge it gives you special abilites: IE: Making two golems from one, getting additional defence, or getting more money per kill/death.
•Special parts are actually hard to get.
How to win a Game!The objective is to destroy your opponents Forge and all buildings other than the forge he or she may control. Now the fun part about it is the Forges are NOT pre-placed: You use a Flag Beacons COP function to choose your starting location. This helps alot, mainly because you choose were you spawn. This also means no two games will be alike, unless your playing a friend.
Each forge and upgrade has alot of HP, and when you move in close, a Computer will spawn a Unit, an Anti Air and an Anti-Ground, so its hard to camp around the opponents forge. Also, its harder to mass in this because you need to actually make your own golems.
