I want to make a map in StarCraft thats a bit like a melee map thats just more fun to play and has some unit modifications and ability to create heroes etc. but I just have one problem with the terrain. All the triggers will soon be finished, +unit modifications but I still cant do the terrain.
What I wanted for my map (having already done one like it in WC2) was the terrain from a BGH map in Space Platform tileset. You know, 8 sections with space in between, 1 in each corner and 1 in middle of each side and a big area in the middle. I tried to do it with diamond terrain, but it just doesn't come out nice.
Anyway, the question I wanted to ask was: Is there any way to make a map with square tiles on a Mac?

If not, is there anyone willing to make me a map from a template by me in smaller format with diamond tiles? (You will be included in map credits). If someone makes me the map, they can have all my minerals (I know it isn't much but it may get to be more by the time the map is made). For further contact, pm me.

I dont have mac but maybe this editor has square tiles. Ive never tryed it though so...

And you know you have to use like DatEdit, RetroGRP, WinMPQ, etc. to do unit modifications right?

Or if your just changing the amount of damage the unit does or the health, shields, etc.

I'm pretty sure the Mac doesn't a have an ability to place square tiles, One problem with macs is that starcraft hates you.
